WARNING: SPOILERS INBOUND!!
For this post I will just be writing a “review” on pages 17 and 18 of chapter 6. In these pages, Eren when he was younger, maybe around 7 or 8, was brutally murdering one of three kidnappers. And I mean brutally. He killed the first person on page 15 by just stabbing him once in the chest, but he killed the second man on pages 17 and 18 with a knife attached to a stick, in the form of a spear, rammed it into the man then proceeded to grab another knife and jump on the man and start brutally slaughtering him while yelling some… rather crude words at him. I mean, it makes sense, if an 8 year old kid was killing someone, he might be quite feisty and might yell some things. But maybe this is taking it a bit too far with the extreme brutality. I mean really? Besides, how does an 8 year old even know how to use a knife to stab someone that perfectly, and how does he know how to wrap a knife around a stick? And on pages 28 and 29 it shows that Mikasa, also 8 at the time perfectly, from behind, stabbed a man straight in the heart! Might have gone a bit too far on that part, but I won’t stress it too much.
