Reading Response #7

WARNING: SPOILERS INBOUND!!

I will be starting out with pages 23 to 31 of chapter 11:14… oh my… the speech that is given by Armin, including the “Fights” at the end, it just makes this chapter worthwhile. It bring up hope extremely, and even though it shows death and sadness, it also shows success and accomplishment. It is kind of referring to real life, for you to succeed, to need to fail. In this story, in order for a hard goal to be reached (plugging the hole with a rock), risks and sacrifices need to be made (all of the people that died). It is just a really excellent part and I love it.

I will now be talking about chapter 16:19 pages 4-17. I really like this part because it gives us a bit more mystery, (why a titan was saying the things that it was saying, and what happened to the titan, why was he ripping his face apart) and I like a small, informative, exciting, yet sad story that shows us that there’s more to the titans then meets the eye. Overall, I like this small part.
